Grady lived at El Taller Latino Americano, in the basement of a large Greek Orthodox Church. During that time, from 1986 until 1991, he worked on many projects with artists and musicicians who vistied, painted and performed there. In 1989 Grady worked with Bernardo Palombo, Turrizo, Donna Light, and others on a large intersactive mural for the Metrepolitan Transport Agency (MTA). Called “Losaida”, the work took a year and a half of planning, sketching, and painting. In 1990 it was finally installed in the Second Avenue F train subway station.
