Demian Palombo and his brother Ira grew up with Grady at El Taller Latino Americano in the late 1980's. He has composed much of the soundtrack of "Birth of the Sun" and also plays guitar and other instruments for the film. The soundtrack is a mix of songs recorded by Demian and songs that were recorrded live and as multi-track mixes at El Taller during the production of the video.
